Hello all just to let you know that we have now completely moved our operation to MACKER'S bar, which is only about 30 yards from the original site of A.JOES. There is a new bar on our old site, called Berry's and we #DO NOT# recommend this bar at all, it is nothing to do with us anymore although you may be told it is to get you in there. We look frward to meeting our friends(old and new) in the forthcoming summer weeks.

It's great to see so many nice messages about the bar and site.We are almost gearred up for the forthcoming summer season in Average Joes with lots of new surprises in store. The new bar is doing fantastically well, offering the best value in town. The bar is called MACKER'S and offers a pint of lager for just 1 euro, alcopops at just 2 euro top brand spirits(no cheap brands sold here)only 2 euro and draught Guinness at only 3 euro a pint. Karaoke,Bingo,Quizzes every night. Same as Joes only a little smaller and more cozy, also all the sport on the Plasmas & BIG SCREEN.

What a summer !!!

I've been back in sunny Birmingham now for nearly 2 weeks and what a change it is after spending the summer in Gran Canaria.
Had many many great laughs working at Average joes and made some life long friends also.

Woa woa woa woa sweet child o' mine wot's goin on? Average joes that's wot!!! It was a blast-no need to shimmy anywhere else,well if ya do you'll be hot footin it back there to cut a rug pretty sharpish! Cheap as...!! An all round top place to go,great entertainment-the dj jiggy johnny & his lanky sidekick lee(the magician)can hold a tune or two on the kareoke (unlike us). Great bit o' banter too. Lee, if we hear 'you're beautiful' one more time we won't be responsible for our actions!! (just kiddin)
Great place to go watch the footie too.
Also,get a load of the Sunday carvery in MOTHER HUBBARDS restaurant next door-LUSH!!
Big shout to all the bar staff too,wot a great bunch.
